Michelle Tsosie-Sisneros is an artist of diverse backgrounds (Santa Clara, Navajo, Mission and Laguna), and a highly progressive style.  Her work often provides contemporary interpretation of classical/historical Indian icons and symbols.  Her figurative works capture a wonderful sense of color and motion.  She has exhibited with such noted Santa Clara artists as Pablita Velarde and Margarete Bagshaw-Tindel.  She recently illustrated the book "Kokopelli's Gift".  Her works have won numerous awards and are widely collected.
