Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
A listing of common questions from collectors.

Q:  Do you guarantee the authenticity of every work  you sell?
A:  Absolutely.  We take great care to ensure that the works
that we carry are the original work of registered members
of state or federally recognized tribes (in accordance with
the American Indian Arts and Crafts Act).

Q:  Can you provide a certificate of authenticity, or provenance
      with works that you sell?
A:  Yes, we can provide a certificate of authenticity.  We can
      also include ownership history/provenance information,
      when available.

Q:  Do you conduct appraisals?
A:  We aren't doing appraisals at the time (because of the time
demands involved).  When considering consignments, we
will often appraise works to ensure that retail prices reflect
      the current market.

Q:  Do you accept consignments?
A:  We do consider accepting original art/original graphics and
craft on consignment basis.  All works must be the original
work of a registered member of a state or federally recognized
tribe (in accordance with the American Indian Arts and Crafts
Act).  We are actively seeking works by distinguished artists,
for whom a strong market currently exists.

Q:  I'm an artist.  Would you be interested in carrying my work?
A:  On occasion, we do look for works by new artists, usually
with an established market for their work.   Artists should
submit their current vita and images of their work.  Include
exhibits, galleries, and a copy of tribal registration.

Q:  Do you purchase artwork from private collections/estates?
A:  On occasion, we are able to work out purchase arrangements
for works by distinguished artists.  We are particularly
interested in works by artists currently on the website.

Q:  Do you offer discounts, or is the price on the website firm?
A:  We are able to offer some flexibility in pricing to those
interested in purchasing multiple works.  We also offer
some flexibility in pricing to those who have purchased
      from us before.

Q:  Can you arrange to speak to our school/organization about
      American Indian art/culture?
A:  Yes.  We have often taken examples of artwork or cultural
items to local schools and organizations, for presentations
on American Indian art history.  We've addressed a wide
variety of groups, from pre-schools to a MENSA conference.

Q:  What forms of payment do you accept, and do you have
      a layaway policy?
A:  These issues are addressed on our policies page.  Click
      here for specifics.
